Sex Offenders
By Iowa Code, the Benton County Sheriff's Office must register sex offenders who reside or establish a residence within the county.
Offenders that are required to register with Benton County shall call the Sheriff's Office at (319) 472-2337, option 2 to schedule an appointment. Registration will be conducted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Registration Requirements
Offenders must register with Benton County Sheriff's Office and provide all information as specified by Iowa Code Chapter 692A within five (5) business days.
